About The Position

We are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial Store Manager to lead Eyebuydirect's first retail location. This role is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving business results, and ensuring seamless coordination across retail and vision care operations. The ideal candidate is an inspiring, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces innovation, and is excited to help build Eyebuydirect's omnichannel customer experience. Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 4+ years management/supervisory experience, preferably in an eyecare/healthcare setting
  • A proven track record of delivering results and growth
  • Excellent business and financial acumen including operational analysis
  • Strong communicator and listener
  • Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, and other software applications

Responsibilities

  • Represents and communicate Eyebuydirect’s values to customers and team members.
  • Leads store performance and delivers an exceptional customer experience across retail and eyecare operations.
  • Recruits strong talent and support succession planning. Coaches and develops a high-performing, customer-focused team.
  • Partner with doctors and eyecare teams to maintain high standards of patient care and efficient workflows.
  • Supports eyecare activities, including exam booking, insurance verfitication, pre-test, and tele-optometry workflows.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the eyecare business and use that knowledge to improve patient experience and business results.
  • Review store performance and financial results, identify opportunities, and recommend actions to improve customer experience, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Manage store expenses, including labor, supplies, and vision insurance claim accuracy.
  • Oversee daily store operations and provide team members with on-the-job training and support in line with Company policies and procedures.
  • Manage daily scheduling and payroll for the entire store team.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy through proper inventory management procedures.
  • Lead the adoption of new technology, processes, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Supports marketing team in identifying and leading local marketing and community outreach opportunities.
  • Ensures all Company approved safety programs are implemented and maintained.
  • Works weekends and evenings in support of the business needs (varies by location).
  • Adheres to attendance and daily time keeping requirements.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Consistently maintains proper dress code.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as business needs.
