DRY GOODS STORE MANAGER
About The Position
As a Store Manager, you drive retail growth by motivating associates to help customers create their personal style. You support the Dry Goods brand by directing activities needed to achieve store goals, elevate associate and customer engagement, and present an inspiring, fashionable store environment. The role includes leading and developing store employees, managing staffing and hiring activities, supporting payroll and benefits administration, and ensuring merchandising, visual presentation, and cleanliness standards. You are also expected to perform sales associate and keyholder duties and be available for a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Motivate store employees to deliver outstanding customer service by training, coaching, and leading by example.
- Execute all duties of a sales associate and keyholder.
- Coordinate the interview process, including screenings, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain appropriate staffing and forecast future staffing needs.
- Assess associate performance to improve service quality and increase sales; provide feedback and performance evaluations.
- Develop associates’ skills to meet store goals and conduct ongoing training for new and existing employees.
- Complete payroll and maintain time clocks.
- Administer employee benefit enrollment and usage.
- Implement merchandising plans and monitor the store’s visual appearance and cleanliness.
- Develop and implement solutions to address customer problems and business needs.
- Work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
