About The Position
Conlan Tire is seeking a Store Manager in Grand Prairie, Texas, to lead store operations and grow profitability. Conlan Tire is a privately owned commercial tire retreading company that sells retreading services, provides drive-up tire service at its store locations, and offers roadside and mobile service. The Store Manager will oversee store operations, work with sales to increase accounts, coordinate inventory and deliveries, and set expectations for service technicians and office personnel. A college degree is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of commercial tire store operations experience.
- Knowledge of commercial tires and retreading.
- Ability to multitask and continually prioritize a changing workload.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- An aggressive and competitive nature to drive service goals.
- Confidence in closing a sale.
- Superior communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
Nice To Haves
- College degree preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage store operations and work with sales to increase accounts.
- Create and audit work orders and invoices.
- Track inventory and ensure all tires are accounted for.
- Set expectations for service technicians and office personnel.
- Coordinate delivery of new inventory to customers and pickup of tires for retreading; larger inventory levels are coordinated with a company driver.
