About The Position

This is a dynamic Store Manager role in the Santa Clara area for a culturally connected women's fashion brand. The brand was born online, built on trend velocity and community, and is now expanding its physical retail network. The stores are high-volume, high-energy environments. This role is for a candidate who is a self-starter, leads by example, and takes pride in the performance, culture, and aesthetic of their store. The position is available immediately and offers high accountability and high autonomy, with trust and ownership over a vibrant retail environment.

Requirements

  • Experienced retail leader with 3–5+ years in a Store Manager or senior leadership role, ideally in fashion, lifestyle, or contemporary retail.
  • Commercially sharp with the ability to read and understand numbers daily and take action.
  • A genuine culture builder.
  • Calm under pressure, decisive, and consistent.
  • Obsessed with the customer experience.
  • Comfortable with Shopify POS and operating in a fast-paced, digitally-native retail environment.
  • Available to work weekends and key trading periods.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales floor with full authority — setting the pace, the culture, and the standard on every shift.
  • Deliver KPI performance across conversion, ATV, UPT, and overall sales targets.
  • Create a customer experience that is energetic, personable, and fashion-forward.
  • Serve as the primary decision-maker in store, acting with confidence and judgment.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of Associates and Key Leaders.
  • Coach in real time on the floor, focusing on team growth.
  • Create a positive team culture with high standards and genuine celebration of wins.
  • Hold difficult conversations when necessary, with directness and care.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance data to make informed decisions.
  • Manage stock flow, replenishment, and sell-through.
  • Execute visual merchandising direction with precision.
  • Collaborate with district leadership to share insights and flag opportunities.
  • Manage scheduling, labour, and operational procedures for efficiency.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, loss prevention compliance, and financial reconciliation.
  • Maintain a high standard for the sales floor and stockroom.
