About The Position

The Store Manager is responsible for performing all duties and performance requirements of a Customer Service Representative and Assistant Manager. This includes managerial and leadership duties such as recruiting, interviewing, hiring, firing, training, preparing daily reports, bank deposits, conducting surveys of competition, managing timesheets, and operating various store equipment and transactions. The Store Manager must be an ambassador for SBOC/Han-Dee Hugo’s, championing the company's values and mission. They are responsible for resolving personnel issues, addressing customer complaints professionally, ensuring the store is fully stocked and properly signed, and being capable of activating emergency controls and handling spills or fires.

Requirements

  • Must have some computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and department manuals.
  • Ability to effectively and positively present information in one - on - one and small group situations to customers and other employees in the organization.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide, calculate percentages and discounts.
  • Must be able to grasp cash and inventory control procedures and basic accounting functions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding, to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Assistant Manager Experience with SBOC/Han-Dee Hugo’s preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform proficiently and consistently all duties and performance requirements of a Customer Service Representative and Assistant Manager.
  • Perform managerial & leadership duties including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, firing, and training.
  • Prepare daily reports, bank deposits, and night bank deposits.
  • Conduct gasoline/fuel and other surveys of competition.
  • Manage time sheets.
  • Operate Point of Sale equipment, Credit/Debit card machines, Lotto, Lottery, Fuel Dispensers, and ATM’s.
  • Be proficient in the use of all equipment and all reports.
  • Act as an Ambassador for SBOC/Han-Dee Hugo’s at all times.
  • Be a champion and support the Company’s Values and Mission Statement.
  • Resolve personnel issues within the stores.
  • Address customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure good communication skills and promote teamwork within the store.
  • Ensure the store is fully stocked with merchandise and fronted at all times.
  • Ensure all POP signage is accurately posted.
  • Be mentally and physically capable of immediately activating emergency controls, handle accidental spills, fire extinguishers and Emergency Shut Offs.
