About The Position

Town Pump is seeking a motivated, outgoing Store Maintenance team member. The role supports customer service and store operations through mechanical maintenance, repairs, housekeeping, security, and assistance to store cashiers and managers. Duties include servicing fuel pumps and related equipment, maintaining the building and grounds, and keeping maintenance and safety records. The position is scheduled 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and pays $16 per hour, depending on experience. The role involves outdoor work and exposure to cold and other weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and support store security and operations.
• Repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps and associated equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC, and control systems.
• Follow safe repair and tool-handling procedures and wear protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.
• Clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, and fuel islands.
• Maintain buildings and property, including landscaping, trash removal, and snow removal.
• Maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics.
• Maintain lights, including replacing lamps and ballasts.
• Come in as needed to help keep the store running.
• Assist clerks or managers as needed.
