About The Position

Town Pump is hiring a motivated and outgoing team member to perform store housekeeping and maintenance. The role is responsible for keeping indoor and outdoor store areas clean and maintained, providing customer service, and assisting cashiers, maintenance personnel, and managers as needed. Housekeeping tasks include cleaning restrooms, showers, laundry rooms, professional driver’s lounges, and other common areas; replenishing supplies; handling trash; and laundering store items. Maintenance tasks include servicing and repairing fuel pumps and associated equipment, supporting building and property upkeep, and maintaining lights and required maintenance and safety records. The position may involve outdoor work in cold and other weather conditions and requires coming in as needed to help keep the store running. Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain indoor and outdoor store areas, including restrooms, laundry rooms, showers, professional driver’s lounges, and other common areas.
• Empty trash containers and fill and maintain window-wash stations.
• Clean and replenish toiletry items and supplies in restrooms and showers; clean showers after each use.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, and mop floors; clean windows and ledges.
• Wash, fold, and put away shower towels and other store-laundered items.
• Bag and stock ice.
• Assist store cashiers, maintenance personnel, clerks, and managers as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and interact with the public.
• Perform customer service, mechanical operation, repairs, housekeeping, and store-security duties.
• Repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps and associated equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems.
• Follow safe repair and tool-handling procedures and wear protective clothing and necessary personal protective equipment.
• Clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, and fuel islands; perform landscaping, trash removal, snow removal, and other building and property upkeep.
• Maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics.
• Maintain lights, including replacing lamps and ballasts.
• Come in as needed to help keep the store running.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
