About The Position
Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Maintenance member. The role supports store operations through customer service, mechanical operation and repairs, housekeeping inside and outside the store, store security, and assistance to store cashiers. The position involves maintaining and repairing fuel pumps and associated equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC, and control systems, as well as general building and property upkeep. Work includes outdoor exposure to cold and other weather conditions. The Store Maintenance member is expected to help keep the store running and come in as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and interact with the public.
- Operate, repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps and associated equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems.
- Practice safe repair and tool-handling procedures, using protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.
- Clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, fuel islands, and other areas.
- Maintain buildings and property, including landscaping, trash removal, and snow removal.
- Maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics.
- Maintain lights, including replacing lamps and ballasts.
- Assist store cashiers, clerks, or managers as needed.
- Help keep the store running and come in as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping inside and outside the store and support store security.
