About The Position

Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Grocery Merchandiser. The position focuses on maintaining accurate product pricing and inventory, keeping the store clean and well stocked, handling vendor orders and deliveries, rotating merchandise, and creating displays. The role also includes performing clerk duties described in the clerk job description.

Responsibilities

• Correct and maintain product pricing, including price changes, cooler pricing, white-tag items, product tag numbers, and tracking updated or discontinued items.
• Keep the store clean and attractive, with an adequate supply of quality merchandise.
• Maintain accurate inventory pricing, including price changes, markups, and markdowns.
• Order merchandise from multiple vendors, check in vendor products, and return guaranteed items weekly.
• Cross-reference deliveries, put away stock orders, and keep backstock at a minimal level.
• Stock and rotate products, monitoring expiration dates to keep merchandise fresh.
• Build merchandise displays and set merchandise according to schematics, with vendor assistance.
• Print price books and maintain PLUs, displays, and signage.
• Perform clerk duties as described in the clerk job description.
