STORE MAINTENANCE 16.50 per hour
About The Position
Town Pump is seeking a motivated, outgoing Store Maintenance team member. The role supports store operations through customer service, mechanical operation and repairs, housekeeping, store security, and assisting cashiers, clerks, or managers as needed. Duties include maintaining and repairing fuel pumps and associated equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC, and control systems; keeping maintenance and safety records; maintaining lighting; and handling interior, exterior, and property upkeep. The position requires working outdoors in cold and other weather conditions and using protective clothing and personal protective equipment when performing repairs. The posted pay rate is $16.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and interact with the public.
- Operate, repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps and associated equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems.
- Follow safe repair and tool-handling procedures and wear protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.
- Clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, fuel islands, and other areas.
- Maintain buildings and property, including landscaping, trash removal, and snow removal.
- Maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics.
- Maintain lights, including replacing lamps and ballasts.
- Help keep the store running and come in as needed.
- Assist store cashiers, clerks, or managers as needed.
- Perform housekeeping and support store security.
