About The Position
Town Pump is seeking a motivated, outgoing Store Maintenance team member to support store operations and provide customer service. The role involves maintaining and repairing store equipment and facilities, keeping the interior and exterior clean and safe, supporting store security, and assisting cashiers, clerks, or managers as needed. The position requires responding when needed to help keep the store running and interacting with the public to provide exceptional customer service. Work includes outdoor upkeep and exposure to cold and other weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and support store security.
- Operate, repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps and associated equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems.
- Use safe repair and tool-handling procedures, including wearing protective clothing and necessary personal protective equipment.
- Clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, and fuel islands.
- Maintain buildings and property, including landscaping, trash removal, and snow removal.
- Maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics.
- Maintain lights, including replacing lamps and ballasts.
- Come in as needed to help keep the store running.
- Assist cashiers, clerks, or managers as needed.
