About The Position
Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Grocery Merchandiser. The role focuses on maintaining accurate product pricing and inventory, keeping the store clean and well-stocked, ordering and receiving merchandise, and ensuring products are fresh and attractively displayed. The position also performs clerk duties as described in the clerk job description.
Responsibilities
- Correct and maintain product pricing, including downloading price changes from Pricebook, cooler pricing, white-tag items, product tag numbers, and tracking updated and discontinued items.
- Keep the store clean and attractive, with ample quality merchandise available.
- Maintain accurate inventory pricing, including price changes and markups or markdowns.
- Order merchandise from multiple vendors, check in vendor products, and return guaranteed items weekly.
- Cross-reference deliveries, put away stock orders, and maintain minimal backstock.
- Keep products stocked, rotated, and fresh by monitoring expiration dates.
- Build creative merchandise displays and set merchandise according to schematics with vendor assistance.
- Print price books and maintain PLUs, displays, and signage.
- Perform clerk duties as described in the clerk job description.
