About The Position

The Grocery Merchandiser manages an assigned territory by visiting grocery stores, conducting audits and surveys, completing tasks, and reporting results using provided technology. The role includes selling and merchandising products, gaining and maintaining distribution, ensuring products are stocked and accurately represented on shelves, and ordering products when stock is low or unavailable. The position involves regular travel between stores within a designated territory and independent work with store teams in a fast-paced retail environment. It requires frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. This is a part-time role of 24–27 hours per week, with some half days, based in Boise, Idaho, within a 40–60 mile radius. Compensation is $20 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The role requires consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication, as well as attendance at client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation.
Valid driver's license.
Proof of automobile insurance.
Reliable phone that is within five years old, with service and internet access for daily communication.
Ability to drive to stores in the assigned territory to complete retail tasks and audits.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision.
