About The Position

The Store Lead supports the Store Leadership Team by completing cash-wrap operations, opening and closing procedures, and serving as Leader on Duty (LOD). The role represents the brand professionally, engages customers, maintains store standards, and supports teamwork and employee development. The Store Lead helps create a positive store environment for internal and external customers while supporting store productivity, profitability, and operational standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of previous retail experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent customer engagement skills.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to give and receive performance-based feedback.
Willingness to embrace self-development.
Effective communication skills.
Adaptability and flexibility when priorities change.
Excellent time-management, planning, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to adapt to and learn internal applications.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to meet business needs and company PT/FT availability requirements.
Ability to maneuver on the sales floor and in the stockroom, climb a ladder, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing talent by training associates and providing in-the-moment coaching.
Partner with the Store Manager to address associate performance concerns.
Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
Foster a positive work environment and provide direct, objective feedback in a timely manner.
Assess performance and provide appropriate feedback daily and during the annual performance review process.
Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and create a positive store environment.
Model and encourage exceptional customer service on the sales floor and maintain high store standards and brand integrity.
Represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
Support the management team in maximizing productivity through operational and product knowledge, customer service, and participation in key store initiatives.
Participate in the Leader on Duty program by providing an exceptional customer shopping experience, driving store profitability, and leveraging payroll.
Process payroll weekly.
Modify schedules based on business conditions.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom in accordance with established policies.
Ensure CRE standards and safety requirements are met.
