About The Position

The Store Driver picks, stages, and safely delivers parts to professional customers, and picks up returns and cores. The role also supports sales through customer engagement, promotion of sales and loyalty programs, and collection of credit accounts. Drivers help maintain store operations by stocking inventory, conducting cycle counts, and keeping the store clean. They also assist walk-in customers with parts and service recommendations and share delivery-related customer insights with the CPP.

Requirements

Speak and write English; Spanish is a plus.
Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and leadership.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
Use basic math accurately, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Engage customers confidently and promote products.
Be willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Automotive parts experience is preferred.
Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers.
Pick up returns and cores.
Deliver weekly or monthly sales flyers and promote current sales and loyalty programs.
Collect credit accounts daily.
Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and share insights gained during deliveries with the CPP.
Assist with upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and the parking lot.
Stock inventory, including truck stocking and back stock, and perform cycle counts.
Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
