Store Director - East Cleveland Market
About The Position
Meijer is hiring a Store Director for its East Cleveland Market, serving multiple locations in Ohio. The Store Director is accountable for team members at all levels and for the total operation of the store, ensuring the best possible customer shopping experience and leading the unit in line with the company’s leadership expectations and core values. The role is responsible for maximizing financial success, providing remarkable customer service and financial stability, and maintaining operational and merchandising standards. The Store Director develops a team that consistently meets productivity and customer service goals. The Store Director uses retail leadership and service expertise to support the success of the store and team. The role requires analyzing financial data, maintaining fiscal responsibility, mentoring and coaching team members and leaders, ensuring appropriate staffing and training, maintaining corporate, safety, and regulatory procedures, and building relationships in the local community to support the Meijer brand. The position may require lifting, carrying, and other physical acts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience.
- At least 5 years of retail or service industry experience.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience, including management of leaders with direct reports.
- At least 3 years of retail leadership experience.
- Experience leading a retail or service operation with a minimum of $40 million in annual sales revenue, through single- or multi-unit responsibility.
- Ability to receive and maintain licenses required for the store’s operations.
- Experience as a Store Director or at the District Manager level is required for consideration.

- General Merchandise and Grocery/Fresh experience is preferred.
