About The Position

The Store Clerk helps ensure customers have a satisfactory shopping experience by attending to their needs and answering questions about store products. The role also supports store operations and other departments, including registrations and donations, and performs additional duties as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency, including Google software.
• Ability to use a telephone, email, copier, and printer.
• Outgoing, positive, responsible, and trustworthy demeanor.
• Flexibility with working hours and willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (100% bilingual).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Complete respect for the Roman Catholic Church.

Responsibilities

• Receive customers and assist them with selecting merchandise.
• Greet, interact with, and monitor customers to assist with loss prevention.
• Display and organize products so customers can locate them easily.
• Help customers with billing and payment at the store counter.
• Communicate information about product availability and spiritual information.
• Maintain the store’s appearance by dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise on shelves.
• Handle record keeping and re-ordering systems.
• Support store activities and other organizational departments, including registrations and donations, and perform other duties as needed.
