About The Position

Assists store customers in selecting and purchasing items. Stocks, arranges, and displays furniture, bric-a-brac, books, clothes, and other similar products; rotates or rearranges stock as needed; and returns items to their proper locations. Performs routine security activities while observing customers shopping in the store. May assist with moving donations to the storage area and prepare and provide donation receipts. Performs cleaning activities, including cleaning display racks, shelves, windows, mirrors, and storage areas; sweeping and mopping floors; and cleaning other areas as needed. Answers the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Experience working in a retail store preferred.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify.
