About The Position

As an entry-level Meijer team member, the Store Cleaner supports store services and customer service while working across several areas of the store. The role includes collecting carts, managing trash, performing basic cleaning, and assisting with returns and snow removal. The job profile is not all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work in the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
