About The Position

Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, with an emphasis on floor care. The role includes operating floor-care equipment and cleaning and maintaining store areas such as the sales floor, queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms. The Store Cleaner also supports other store areas as needed, follows company standards and policies, and contributes to a safe, positive customer and colleague experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the floor scrubber and buffer; dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot-clean glass and windows.
• Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards, including the maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
• Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end.
• Cross-train in other store areas, such as the backroom, front end, and sales floor, to support business needs.
• Support and respond to front-end coverage needs.
• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Follow the company's merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Follow operational and loss-prevention controls and company guidelines, including shrink-reduction practices.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
• Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break-period policies.
• Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
