About The Position

As an entry-level team member on Meijer’s Courtesy Team, you will perform a variety of store and customer-service tasks, including cart retrieval, cleaning, trash collection, snow removal, and returns. The role involves working in and around the store and coordinating with multiple departments. Additional duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

• Be highly organized and have a keen sense for details.
• Have strong listening and communication skills.
• Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely use snow-removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Work with Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
