About The Position

Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating floor-cleaning equipment and performing a range of cleaning tasks. The associate follows operational, merchandise, health and safety, and loss-prevention standards and is cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position also supports customer experience, store recovery, Front End coverage, and a positive, respectful store culture.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate a floor buffer and scrubber.
• Capable of multitasking and responding appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Works effectively with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the floor scrubber and buffer, and perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
• Maintain floor-care standards and cleanliness, organization, and recovery throughout the store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
• Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
• Cross-train and work in other store areas, including the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor, and respond to Front End coverage needs.
• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Follow merchandising philosophy and signage standards; initiate and participate in store recovery as needed.
• Follow operational and loss-prevention controls, including shrink-reduction guidelines and policies.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
• Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break periods.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
