About The Position

The Store Associate role focuses on maintaining the store's appearance and providing excellent customer service. This includes ensuring the store is clean, organized, and welcoming for customers. Associates assist customers in finding products, handle transactions at the checkout, and engage customers in loyalty programs. They also participate in inventory management tasks such as truck unloading and stocking shelves, and support company initiatives related to safety and loss prevention. The role requires adherence to all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain operational standards. Associates are expected to uphold the company's vision and values through positive interactions with customers and team members, serving as a role model.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

  • Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
  • Collect and dispose of trash.
  • Dust and damp mop floors.
  • Move equipment and products for cleaning and proper placement.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
  • Mix cleaning solutions.
  • Deep clean key areas of the store.
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
  • Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
  • Execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Execute Company policies and standards.
