About The Position

The Retail Store Associate works in a customer-focused retail setting, independently and as part of a team, to support customers’ needs and CVS Health’s services. Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Able to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Able to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly, including for overhead lifting.
• Close visual acuity to view a computer terminal, read, and inspect small parts or details.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate customer needs, demonstrate compassion and care, and identify and resolve potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and help customers locate items when needed.
• Accurately handle cash, check, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Restock shelves, check in vendors, update pricing information, and complete inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, and help ensure departments are stocked and operational.
• Stay current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as opportunities arise.
• Advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs.
