About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Store Associate is a limited-time employment opportunity supporting increased summer business and tourism through Labor Day. This customer-focused role works independently and as part of a team in a retail setting, helping customers and supporting store operations. The position is part-time, with 24 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $15.15 to $22.15 per hour. The role requires applicants to be at least 16 years old. A high school diploma or equivalent is listed as preferred education.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, showing compassion and care, and identifying and resolving potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer assistance locating items.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Support all departments, including photo and beauty, by keeping them stocked and operational and staying current with services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as an opportunity for growth and career development.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs that support customers’ health.
