Seasonal Store Associate
About The Position
As a Store Associate, you bring the Vera Bradley brand to life and serve as the face of the brand. You work with store leadership to achieve sales goals while delivering an excellent shopping experience and best-in-class customer service. You uphold Vera Bradley’s core values and help make the world a brighter place through every customer touchpoint. The position includes customer engagement and selling, daily store operations, merchandising, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. The role requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays to support peak business needs. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support peak business needs.
- Able to walk and stand constantly; bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
- Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight and hearing, and dexterity.
- Able to consistently lift 10–35 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.; and push or pull more than 55 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Suggest products that meet customers’ individual needs and support store results through add-on selling and customer outreach.
- Create an exceptional in-store experience by engaging customers through product awareness and team selling.
- Execute and improve daily operational procedures.
- Support the team in maintaining visual standards and keeping the store organized and inviting.
- Be reliable, uphold Vera Bradley’s core values, and follow company policies and procedures.
