About The Position

Store Associates support daily store operations and deliver a fast, customer-focused shopping experience. This dynamic, team-based role involves transitioning among checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional display tasks during a shift. Associates follow structured processes and efficiency standards to meet store needs and keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products weighing up to and in excess of 45 lbs. and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition among checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other areas to meet store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Conduct freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Handle customer inquiries and returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
