About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily store operations in a structured, team-based environment. The role involves moving between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional setups according to store needs. Associates provide efficient customer service, meet productivity and quality standards, maintain store cleanliness and safety, and work with the team to complete daily tasks and prepare for the next shift.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products weighing up to and in excess of 45 pounds.
Ability to reach above head height (10+ inches) frequently.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition between checkout, stocking, bakery, and produce tasks as store needs change.
Meet productivity goals and follow streamlined processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Conduct freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Answer customer inquiries, process returns, and professionally resolve or escalate customer issues.
Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
