About The Position

Bealls Florida is hiring a seasonal Store Associate to help meet seasonal business demands. Seasonal associates are employed at will and typically work for six months or less, but no particular employment duration is guaranteed. Scheduled hours may vary based on business needs, the season, and job requirements. Seasonal associates receive overtime for hours worked over 40 in a week and are not eligible for Bealls benefit programs. The Store Associate contributes to a team-focused environment by helping deliver an exceptional guest experience, supporting sales, and completing customer service, register, merchandise, and store operations tasks. The position may involve varying schedules, including days, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. The stated Illinois Store Associate pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
Ability to use Zebra PDA and POS systems.
Ability to work varying hours and schedules, including days, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 20 pounds.
Full-body rotation and mobility, including bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
Reliable transportation.
For maintenance or receiving duties: ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds; climb a 12-foot ladder; and reach at least 60 inches.

Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional guest experience and drive sales through customer service.
Build guest loyalty by promoting and explaining credit and loyalty programs.
Accurately handle register operations and transactions.
Receive, unload, and process merchandise from trucks.
Execute store merchandising direction and standards, product flow, inventory flexing, and store operations functions.
Perform general maintenance to maintain cleanliness standards in interior and exterior store areas.
Understand and use company-standard software, systems, and procedures.
Work as part of a team to accomplish goals.
Uphold all safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
