About The Position

Support and maintain the integrity of the Vera Bradley experience by providing exceptional customer service, upholding store image standards, maximizing sales, and assisting with store operations. The role involves engaging guests through product awareness and team selling, contributing to store results, maintaining visual merchandising and store cleanliness, organizing the stock room, and accurately processing sales transactions.

• Be able to walk and stand constantly, and bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Be able to work around strong fragrances and scents throughout the workday.
• Have strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, hearing, and dexterity.
• Consistently lift 10–35 lbs and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs, with the ability to push or pull more than 55 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate preferred.
• Prior retail experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with a retail POS system is a plus.

• Drive store results through add-on selling and conversion that meet guests’ wants and needs.
• Assist with visual merchandising to maintain Vera Bradley brand standards.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting customer environment.
• Maintain stock room organization.
• Accurately process transactions in a professional manner.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Process sales transactions using the POS system.
