About The Position

Support and maintain the integrity of the Vera Bradley experience by providing exceptional customer service, upholding store image standards, maximizing sales, and assisting with store operational needs. The role includes engaging guests through product awareness and team selling, maintaining a positive and respectful work environment, and supporting sales results through add-on selling and conversion. Associates also help maintain visual merchandising and store cleanliness, organize the stock room, accurately process transactions using a POS system, and comply with company policies and procedures.

The position pays $14 per hour. The employer intends to fill the opening within 30 days of the original posting date, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.

Requirements

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

• Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, hearing, and dexterity.
• Consistently lift 10–35 lbs and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs, with the ability to push or pull more than 55 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate preferred.
• Prior retail experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with a retail POS system is a plus.
