About The Position

The Store Associate provides outstanding customer service, maintains a clean and safe store environment, accurately processes customer checkouts, stocks products efficiently, and works collaboratively with the team. The position includes day and night shifts, with listed hours of 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; schedules vary based on business needs. The posting lists a starting wage of $18.25 per hour and also identifies the schedule as part-time.

The role includes customer engagement, cleaning and safety maintenance, cash handling, stocking and product presentation, pricing and signage accuracy, inventory counts, opening and closing procedures, and working in cold environments. The associate must be flexible to meet department needs, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three or more months of retail experience preferred; food service experience is a plus.
• Must be able to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
• Must occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds onto shelving at various heights.
• Must regularly use industrial ladders, including moving, climbing, and stocking shelves while on ladders.
• Must be flexible and willing to work department demands, which may include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Food service industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service through store engagement activities.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain a safe environment.
• Process customer purchases and accurately balance the cash drawer.
• Stock shelves and maintain the presentation of merchandise using material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate pricing and signage for products.
• Participate in store inventory counts and opening and closing procedures.
• Work in cold environments.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
