About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Store Associate is a limited-time position supporting increased summer business and tourism through Labor Day. The role offers an opportunity to work independently and as part of a team in a customer-focused retail setting, helping customers and supporting store operations.

The associate provides attentive customer service, handles cashier transactions, maintains the sales floor and inventory, supports store opening and closing activities, and helps keep departments such as photo and beauty stocked and operational. Associates may also assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular pharmacy shifts as part of growth and career-development opportunities, and promote CVS services and loyalty programs.

This part-time position is eligible for benefits and programs supporting colleagues’ physical, emotional, and financial well-being. Depending on hours worked and eligibility, these may include dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate customer needs, demonstrate compassion and care, and identify and resolve potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer assistance locating items.
• Accurately handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
• Support all departments, including photo and beauty, by helping ensure they are fully stocked and operational and staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as opportunities arise.
• Advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs.
