About The Position

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals for the position of Storage Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be part of a support team, serving as the face of U-Haul Company’s exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and using up-to-date technology to dispatch and return equipment. This position provides on-the-job education, with a motto of 'Hire Fast, Pay Fast.' You can start immediately and get paid daily. Two hands-on working interviews are offered, and you get paid for each. A $100 hiring bonus is available, along with a $300 cash bonus upon completion of the U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through our 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores.

Requirements

Driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record
Excellent communication skills
Available to work on weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Support the site manager with facility operations.
Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
Show storage units, explain the terms of rental agreements and prepare rental contracts.
Perform general routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
Ensure that all vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure and available for new customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
