About The Position

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join their team as Storage Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you will be the face of U-Haul Company's exceptional service, supporting customers on their journeys by inspecting and maintaining equipment. You will also utilize technology to assist customers with dispatching and returning equipment. This position includes on-the-job education, with a fast hiring and payment process. U-Haul offers two hands-on working interviews with payment for each, a $100 hiring bonus, and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of the U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores.

Requirements

• Driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills
• Available to work on weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Support the site manager with facility operations.
• Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
• Show storage units, explain the terms of rental agreements and prepare rental contracts.
• Perform general routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
• Ensure that all vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure and available for new customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
