Stockroom Clerk, Rotating Shift, Materials Management
About The Position
Shady Grove Medical Center is hiring a Stockroom Clerk to support its Materials Management operations and help advance Adventist HealthCare’s mission of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. The role identifies, picks, and distributes inventoried supplies to assigned departments, maintains organized supply areas, checks products for expiration, assists with inventory counts, and helps receive deliveries. The clerk also responds to customer requests and helps keep the storeroom clean and safe. This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week. Typical schedules are 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, scheduled monthly. The posting lists the shift type as day, while also requiring an every-other-weekend rotation from 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Holiday work is required according to the company holiday calendar; the role is not on-call. The position is non-exempt and eligible for a shift differential. The pay range is $18.00–$22.79 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience in warehousing, inventory, or materials management preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify, pick, and distribute inventoried stock items to assigned departments, such as PAR rooms and clinical units.
- Restock shelves and bins with incoming inventory and maintain organized supply rooms.
- Check product expiration dates in the warehouse and supply rooms and remove outdated items.
- Assist with daily cycle counts and year-end inventory, and report par-level discrepancies.
- Break down pallets and assist with unloading and putting away deliveries.
- Respond to customer requests and help locate and issue supplies through Workday.
- Dispose of waste and empty boxes and help maintain a clean and safe storeroom environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
