Requirements

Recognize colors and sizes, count and sort accurately.
Multi-task with a high degree of accuracy.
Have adequate computer skills or ability to learn.
Comprehend and follow written packing instructions or work orders.
Comprehend and follow written and verbal direction.
Standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, twisting, using foot or hand controls, seeing, hearing, grasping, fine dexterity, lifting up to 30 lbs. and stooping.
Be able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift.

Responsibilities

Order, prepare, and process new or used garment inventories for customer delivery.
Determine and maintain inventory levels.
Prepare and report stockroom records.
Receive new garments from vendors and verify orders against invoices.
Notify supervision of issues such as back orders or incorrect items.
Place garment orders using computer, phone, or fax.
Perform withdrawals and inventories.
Process new customer contracts to build correct inventories.
Inspect garments for quality, alter/mend as needed using a sewing machine or by hand, then shelve or put into use.
Use computer to prepare property mark labels.
Use label sealing machinery or sewing machine.
Prepare garments according to route, customer, and individual user, then place into route carts/bins for loading.
Follow written packing instructions or garment order forms.
Continuously meet efficiency and safety standards.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
Perform other production tasks as required by supervision.
