Requirements

Recognize colors and sizes, count and sort accurately.
Multi-task with a high degree of accuracy.
Have adequate computer skills or ability to learn.
Comprehend and follow written packing instructions or work orders.
Comprehend and follow written and verbal direction.
Ability to stand, walk, reach overhead, push, pull, twist, use foot or hand controls, see, hear, grasp, and have fine dexterity.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to stoop.
Ability to meet physical demands for the entire shift.

Experience using a sewing machine.

Responsibilities

Order, prepare, and process new or used garment inventories for customer delivery.
Determine and maintain inventory levels.
Prepare and report stockroom records.
Receive new garments from vendors and verify orders against invoice billing.
Notify supervision of problems such as back orders or incorrect items.
Process new customer contracts to build correct inventories.
Inspect garments for quality, alter/mend as needed, and shelve or put into use.
Prepare property mark labels using a computer, label sealing machinery, or sewing machine.
Prepare garments according to route, customer, and individual user specifications for loading into delivery vehicles.
Follow written packing instructions or garment order forms.
Continuously meet efficiency and safety standards.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
Perform other production tasks as required by supervision.
