About The Position
The Stockroom Assistant will assist the Chemistry Lab Manager with inventory and supplies for teaching labs. This is a temporary, part-time position for Fall 2026 only, requiring a commitment of 3 hours per week.
Requirements
- Must complete department safety training at the start of the semester.
- Must follow all safety guidelines, including those for eye protection and dress.

- Successfully completed one year of CHEM 110/111 before applying for this position.
Responsibilities
- Receive department safety training at the start of the semester.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including those for eye protection and dress.
- Assist the stockroom manager with assigned tasks.
- Prepare lab rooms.
- Prepare solutions and equipment.
- Prepare unknowns.
- Dispose of waste chemicals.
- Check, maintain, and update inventory lists.
