About The Position

The Stocking Team Member delivers friendly customer service, helps customers shop the store and locate products, and provides a fast, friendly checkout experience. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, completing planogram processes, and maintaining merchandise recovery and store presentation standards. Team Members also support omnichannel fulfillment, customer programs, safety and shrink initiatives, and other store duties as assigned. The position is based in a public retail store; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash according to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including merchandise returns and general store recovery, to help ensure the store is well-merchandised and in stock.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company programs, policies, and standards to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive in difficult situations, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a positive role model for other Team Members.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
