Part-time Stocking Associate
About The Position
Central Valley is seeking a part-time Stocking Associate for its St. Helena facility. The role ensures the store is stocked and ready for business by moving products from receiving to the appropriate sales areas with correct pricing labels and signage. The position is 24–30 hours per week on the day shift and requires Saturday availability. Central Valley is a family-owned building supply company with eight locations throughout Northern California. Requirements
- Organized, with attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Time management skills.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must be able to work Saturdays.

- Stocking experience in a retail environment is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Stock products onto shelves so they are available to customers.
- Ensure merchandise is in the correct location and has accurate pricing and labels.
- Unload products safely using designated equipment and proper lifting practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized store to support customer and employee safety.
- Acknowledge and greet customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate department.
- Maintain current knowledge of company products and their locations in the store and yard.
- Observe store areas for safety, potential theft, and security risks.
- Perform other duties as required, including assisting floor sales, cashiering, receiving, and assembling products for customer pickup or delivery.
