About The Position

This role is responsible for operating forklifts and reach-lifts for material movement within the warehouse, including receiving, staging, put-away, and replenishment. Additionally, the position involves manually moving product as needed. Personnel may be cross-trained into other jobs within the organization based on company needs.

Requirements

• Must be certified in forklift operations
• Regularly lift 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for movement of all materials in the warehouse through operation of assigned equipment
• Responsible for using Radio Frequency terminal to record the movement of materials for inventory control purposes in accordance with the Radio Frequency Program guidelines for Put-a-ways, Moves, replenishment, and operations
• Responsible for routine maintenance on forklift equipment, i.e., changing lift batteries
• Responsible for safe movement of product, safety of pedestrian employees and company/warehouse property
• Reports to work on time, as directed by the Warehouse Shift Supervisor, and completes all duties in a timely manner
• Performs above listed duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing the information effectively and communicating the information as needed effectively
