Freezer Workers Needed
About The Position
This role is responsible for selecting or quality checking product from an assigned area according to the pick slip. Additional duties, which are necessary to carry out the function of the freezer, may be assigned. The employee must be able to accurately select product from a pre-assigned location according to the pick slips, reading the nomenclature and unit of measure of the product requested and confirming that data with the product in the bin location. The employee will properly pack product in each container as indicated by the cubing function in the sequence of pick-slips and follow proper guidelines to ensure that there is no damage to product during loading or shipping. The employee will mark the load number on particular boxes and note when product is available on pick-slip and further note when the product is unavailable. The employee must report to work on time, as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor for each shift, and complete duties in a timely manner. All personnel within this job description shall be subject to cross-training into jobs within the organization based on Company needs.
Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- Frequently walk
- Occasionally talk or hear, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Regularly lift 10 pounds
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus
Responsibilities

- Performing duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing the information effectively and communicating the information as needed effectively
- Cross-training into jobs within the organization based on Company needs
