About The Position

The Stocker ensures proper placement of products in the cooler while following quality guidelines. The role checks product dates and labels, places and stacks products in assigned areas, and alerts the supervisor or console operator to product defects, leaks, waste, or product mixing. It also involves cleaning spills and inspecting areas around chains for milk drops. The work takes place in a cooler with varying temperatures and may involve contact with water or dairy liquids, wet or slippery conditions, and moderate-to-high noise levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or International Education Equivalent.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to reach, bend, extend, and lift 50–60 pounds.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Notify the supervisor about products with issues, including missing or incorrect dates, leaking cartons, short-filled units or cases, and empty cases in a stack.
• Place products in assigned areas, stacking five or six cases high and arranging 12 stacks per row.
• Position product dates facing the selector line and ensure new products are not placed in front of or on top of existing products.
• Verify that products are labeled correctly.
• Notify the console operator of product mixing before products reach the palletizer.
• Clean and hose down spills.
• Notify the supervisor about leaking products and waste products that result in spills.
• Inspect areas around chains for milk drops and clean and hose down those areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
