About The Position

The Warehouse Stocker is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting product for customers. The role involves scanning and stocking products into pulling locations, checking products and labels, maintaining production standards, and using a stand-up electric pallet jack to transport products. The position works in a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm and associates may be exposed to outside weather conditions. The listed schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
• Ability to follow safe working practices as instructed.
• Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
• Ability to carry, lift, and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to sit; frequently stand, walk, and climb.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or stock pickers.

Responsibilities

• Scan and stock product into pulling locations using an RF scanner.
• Manually cut tops off cases.
• Inspect products for damages and defects.
• Match product descriptions with label descriptions and maintain production standards while minimizing errors.
• Transport products using a stand-up electric pallet jack.
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
• Maintain good attendance.
• Maintain safe work practices.
• Safeguard confidential company information.
