About The Position

The Stock Prep Runner is responsible for maintaining the efficiency of stock preparation equipment so that it operates at optimal cleaning and throughput capabilities. The role supports stock prep operations by maintaining cleaning systems and the work area, assisting with raw material feeding, and helping mill operations during maintenance and operational downtime. The position takes direction from the Stock Prep Operator and may be assigned other duties by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of machine components.
• Ability to make sound decisions and use critical thinking skills.
• Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Basic math and number skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work rotating shift-work and additional hours as required.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Abide by all MPC safety, general, and procedural policies.
• Maintain adequate pressures and delta pressures in stock prep cleaning systems.
• Keep cleaning systems free of debris.
• Keep the stock prep area clean and organized.
• Take direction from the Stock Prep Operator.
• Assist with feeding raw material (OCC) onto the OCC conveyor.
• Maintain consumables used in the stock prep area.
• Assist mill operations during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and operational downtime.
• Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.
