About The Position

The Stock Clerk is an essential member of the Stinker Stores team, providing customer service and ensuring merchandise is faced, rotated, stocked, and ready for customers. The role also supports customers by answering questions and recommending products, while helping maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the store. This part-time position is located at 5250 Black Canyon Exit #13, Caldwell, Idaho. Hours are 8 to 29 per week; open availability is preferred, and days and times may vary, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays. Starting pay is experience-based, with the individual wage determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Use solution-focused thinking to address problems.
• Learn new concepts, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail while multitasking.
• Balance on a step stool or step ladder.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work from floor to eye level.
• Work in a cooler with an average temperature of 32 degrees.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with their needs and questions.
• Provide product recommendations to customers.
• Tidy restrooms, cooler interiors and exteriors, shelves, and storage areas.
• Follow the Safety Manual, promptly report incidents, and use appropriate safety signage when needed.
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise.
