About The Position

The Stock Associate supports store operations by receiving, checking in, unloading, staging, and stocking merchandise; maintaining assigned areas; and assisting with merchandising and customer service. The role follows company procedures and policies, handles cash when needed, and helps drive store sales. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the General Manager according to store needs. The posting identifies the position as part-time, overnight, and seasonal.

Stand for the entire shift.
Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds and place or remove merchandise at heights of 5–10 feet.
Frequently climb and descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
Frequently kneel, bend, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers and coworkers by telephone and face-to-face.
Frequently move across the sales floor and between the sales floor and stock room.

Responsibilities

Follow standard operating procedures and company policies.
Handle cash according to established procedures.
Review and act on corporate communications applicable to the assigned area.
Assist with merchandising procedures and maintain the assigned area.
Set and maintain the Market Plan and other merchandise directives.
Assist with the company data integrity process.
Deliver exceptional customer service through personal contact and assist customers.
Assist with receiving and stocking procedures.
Unload merchandise from trucks, check in shipments, stage merchandise for the sales floor, and pack out merchandise.
Drive store sales, which may include performing services such as ear piercing, balloons, and buy online, pick up in store.
Perform store maintenance, including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.
Perform additional duties assigned by the General Manager based on store needs.
