About The Position

This position is responsible for taking stock from an l-cart or pallet and using the location codes on each box to place stock in the correct shelf location. The process is repeated until the assigned area is finished. The posting also describes a Food Clerk role in Meijer’s Fresh departments. Food Clerks help create a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience by assisting customers, maintaining product displays, stocking and merchandising products, following food safety procedures, and supporting store operations across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.

Responsibilities

Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery departments.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
