About The Position

Tommy Bahama is seeking a temporary Stock Associate to support store operations and help create a welcoming guest experience. The role processes merchandise and shipments, maintains organized stock and shipping-supply areas, replenishes the selling floor, and communicates inventory information in coordination with the Stock Coordinator and store team. The associate may also participate in store meetings and perform other duties needed to support the business.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest service and stock experience.
• Organized, with a focus on efficiency.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with numbers.
• Collaborative approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and/or move approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Frequent ladder climbing.
• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process store merchandise for the selling floor and replenish the floor with inventory.
• Provide product knowledge to guests.
• Partner with the Stock Coordinator in daily stockroom operations.
• Maintain neat, orderly, accessible storage and shipping-supply areas for incoming and outgoing products.
• Accurately and promptly process inbound and outbound shipments according to Retail Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Participate in store-related meetings.
• Generate reports and communicate inventory inquiries or discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the business.
